Afternoon Adventures is an after-school child care program for children K-6. It was created to provide fun and enriching activities for children after school, to aid parents who have responsibilities outside of the home, who cannot be home when school is dismissed, and to provide a safe place for children to go. The program provides on-site, after-school child care at North Elementary School, Mountainview Elementary School, Cheat Lake Elementary School, and Westover Elementary School.

There are also two before school programs. These sites are North Elementary School and Mountainview Elementary School.
